Alpha Upsilon Zeta Chapter

Welcome to the website of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Upsilon Zeta Chapter,
located in the “Second to None” Southeastern Region. On behalf of the officers and members
of the Alpha Upsilon Zeta Chapter, I extend to you our warmest greetings and hope you will find
useful information about our great sorority. Chartered in 1942, Alpha Upsilon Zeta is the oldest
graduate chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated in the state of Florida. For over 80 years,
the chapter has served as a beacon of light in the Tallahassee community through our service
programs, Stork’s Nest, and the Ray and Catherine Yarn Scholarship program, which has supported
the higher education goals of many students in the Tallahassee area.

We encourage the involvement of all of our members in some aspect of service to support our
Sorority's ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. The Alpha Upsilon Zeta
Chapter is comprised of diverse, multi-generational, well-educated beautiful women with expertise
in the fields of business, medicine, education, government, social work, and many more.  If you are
a Soror without a chapter home, we welcome you to become a part of the Alpha Upsilon Zeta family.
