The Gorgeouz Gamma Alpha Chapter

The  Gamma Alpha Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was the first Black Greek-lettered Sorority chartered on the campus of Florida A&M College on May 14, 1932 by ten phenomenal women that shared the vision of our Five Pearls. These ten lovely women heard the call of Zeta and began a legacy.

 

For over 80 years, the Gamma Alpha Chapter has continued to uphold the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and has a rich history that runs deep throughout our beloved Sorority. Members initiated through the Gamma Alpha Chapter continue to serve the sorority by holding positions on the National, Regional, and State levels. Furthermore, the Gamma Alpha Chapter was the first undergraduate chapter chartered in the state of Florida, the oldest Zeta Chapter in the state of Florida, and still holds the record of having the largest intake class in history.

 

As the chapter completes many service initiatives, participates in campus-wide programs, and establishes successful annual events, they continue to serve as a positive force in the community and on the campus of Florida A&M University. The illustrious, refined, and captivating women of Zeta Phi Beta commit to “doing more” while seeking new and pioneering ways to serve humanity in an ever-changing society.
